Bison Head

Don Stumbo Custom Cabinetry | Bison Head Project
This 2004 Parade of Homes project in Iowa City features Stumbo Wood Products custom cabinets and custom furniture throughout the home. Quarter sawn white oak with mahogany  accents was used in these flush inset cabinets.

Lake Macbride Cabin

Don Stumbo Custom Cabinetry | Cabin Project
Stumbo Wood Products built the custom kitchen, bathrooms, library, and laundry room cabinets for this newly constructed lakeside cabin in Iowa. The custom cabinets feature flush inset doors and drawers made of quarter sawn white oak with horizontal grain. The cabinets feature a natural finish to maintain their light color. This house was featured on the cover of the Fall 2011 issue of Iowa Architect Magazine and the 2012 book, 50 US Architects.

Wolf Addition

Don Stumbo Custom Cabinetry | Gantz Project

This addition / remodel includes a kitchen and entertainment center by Stumbo Wood Products in Iowa. These custom maple cabinets have flush inset doors and drawers  and have been dyed and stained black. The wood grain shows only in the sunlight.

Turkey Farm

Don Stumbo Custom Cabinetry | Turkey Farm Project
Stumbo Wood Products in Iowa constructed the custom cabinets throughout the house, including kitchen, pantries, dining room, custom built-ins, laundry room, master closet, office, and bathroom vanities. These maple, flush inset custom cabinets include wenge, a dark exotic wood, accents on the door and drawer front edges.

Be Haus

Don Stumbo Custom Cabinetry | Be Haus Project

Stumbo Wood Products in Iowa constructed a unique stair screen running from the basement to the second floor out of cherry and ash. The project also included custom office furniture, an entertainment center and book cases.

Court Street Home

Don Stumbo custom cabinet

This Stumbo Wood Products' remodel used natural cherry wood, allowing for the custom cabinetry to age and deepen in color over time. Butt hinges were used which gave the finished work a more traditional look. Rather than just slipping these in, each butt hinge was individually mortised to the face frames.
